In Warrington, Bruntwood will be supporting Warrington Youth Zone this Christmas, a time which can be difficult for many, with financial pressures and feelings of isolation impacting families across our community.
The Wishing Tree is a campaign Bruntwood run annually to support their chosen charity partners. Rather than buying specific gifts which aren’t always sustainable for all, they aim to raise money to ensure the charities are getting the most value from donations.
At Warrington Youth Zone, we are committed to ensuring that every young person has access to warmth, nourishment, and joy over Christmas.
· £20 could enable us to support one young person on our holiday club with sporting and arts activities, a nutritious meal and education about healthy eating and wellbeing.
· £30 will enable us to provide a hamper of food to feed a disadvantaged family over the Christmas period.
· £200 can provide 10 Youth in Mind sessions, this discrete one-to-one drop-in service offers vital support to young people struggling with their wellbeing during the Christmas season.
· £1,000 – We are putting out a call to local businesses and individuals to consider a major gift of £1,000 to help us remain open when other support services are closed. All major givers will receive a holiday impact report.
